Made entirely in the USA — entirely in New York, for that matter — our floating rain gauge is a truly local product. All of our parts are fabricated within a 50 mile radius of our home base in New Paltz, New York. Don't be fooled by imported rain gauge imposters!

Steel rod? The guys at Fall Steel load them in my Subaru, even when it's raining. Powder coating? That's Gerry up at Technical Coatings in Kingston. When I need copper, I call Janice at N&S over in Wappingers Falls. And the polycarbonate tubes? OK, they come from New Jersey. 

We have a pretty simple formula when it comes to sourcing parts. If I can drive there and back in less than 2 hours and the parts fit inside a 2001 Subaru Forester, we have a deal.
